Blink and you’ll miss it #2 written by Ethan S. Parker & Griffin Sheridan, art by Keith Browning, colors by Brad Simpson and letters by Pat Brosseau, BOOM! Studios
SOLICITATION:
“The genre-defying new saga continues! Everything old is new again as Melody’s life slips away before her very eyes. When the clock turns back, the bizarre secrets of Perennial Harbor continue to unravel, and Melody will soon find that even death can be unwritten!” (BOOM! Studios)

“MELODY, YOU’RE UNRAVELING AGAIN”
Finally, a better account of what’s happening in this story. Specifically, what’s happening to Melody. Here’s my understanding of the time travel plot device. Without spoilers, of course. It seemed like Melody is traveling through time backwards. When she reached old age dementia settle in.
Hence why she’s lost. Even when landing in different moments of her own life. Melody is exploring this mystery and her own memories as someone else’s. Which makes the reading experience a shared with the protagonist. Because her own memories are just as new to Melody as they are to us.
HOW ABOUT THE ART?
Keith Browning is taking the readers for heart stopping ride filled with horror. While Brad Simpson is providing the colors for this nightmare inducing tale. It’s still hard to believe this is their first professional work in comic books. These guys are firing on all cylinders.
OVERALL GRADE: 10/10
Ethan S. Parker & Griffin Sheridan have adopted a new approach to time travel. Turning a well-known plot device on its head. What happens when you travel through your own life without control? Or without any knowledge of it? Then, you add a horror mystery element on top to elevate the stakes and the drama. The results? A story so compelling and so intriguing you can’t take your eyes away from.
