Last time we saw Laura she was desperate to save her sister Gabby. She’s been cursed, and her healing factor doesn’t seem to be helping. Alongside Dracula’s son, Xarus, Gabby was fighting what seemed like pure evil. She turned to her sister for help, who turned to someone even more knowledgeable. Only to then be taken.

The Story for Laura Kinney: WOLVERINE #10
As soon as Gabby is taken, Laura is determined to find her. Along with Clea, Xarus, and Gabby’s pet Wolverine, Jonathan, they don’t waste anytime. However, finding Gabby doesn’t mean saving her. She’s still cursed and beyond help in any way they know. Nevertheless, a Wolverine will stop at nothing to save those they love. Even stubbornly working with those they’d rather not.

Overall Grade: 8.5/10
We continue to get some amazing stories with Laura that tie into so much more of the Marvel comics world while still feeling like a completely stand alone story. All while also getting to know a very underrated (in my opinion) character. In any Wolverine comic I always love the inner dialogue of back and forth with themselves. The stubbornness, to acceptance. Wolverines always seem to know what they need to do whether they like it or not. This issue showed that so well. Laura knows what she wants and what Gabby needs may not align.
Laura Kinney: WOLVERINE is a comic any all Wolvie fans need to jump on. She is truly her father’s daughter in all the ways you’d want her to be. Yet, she’s still her own person dealing with her own $#!+. SNIKT!
