It’s Winter Time In America. Writer Curt Pires, Artist Luca Casalanguida, Colorist Mark Dale, and Letterer Micha Myers made a beautiful end to the first story arc.

I have said in the first 3 reviews that Luca’s art is beautiful and amazing, and this issue continues that streak. Luca knows exactly how to make the art fit the story. But his art can also tell the story very well. I love seeing the combination of Luca’s art, Mark’s colors, and Micha’s lettering work.
As for the story, Curt has made a fantastic story. Lost Fantasy takes what everyone loves about JRPGs, and infuses it so well into the overall story. All of the characters are written so perfectly. Everyone can find a character that they love. Curt has made 4 issues already, and this is one of, if not the best Image Comics series of the year.
As for the story, our main character, Henry, is closing in on the killer. But before he finds the killer, he first visits the hospital for some info before he hunts the killer down.
Following that, Henry and Nilas go on the hunt, and a huge fight breaks out. We then at the end learn about Henry’s next case.
Overall Grade: 10/10
This series is just getting started, and Issue 5 sounds like it is going to be a wild time. I’m so excited for the series to return in November, and for more adventures in this world.
