The Story and Writing
With the Thunder War continuing, you can bet that Murewa Ayodele will deliver a comic as powerful as Storm herself, and that’s exactly what he did. In Storm #11, we see the the Storm Gods join together in a council meeting to determine their next act.
To join Ororo Munroe, the Storm God from Earth, to protect the universe or join forces with Hadad to assist in his quest of revenge on the universe?
Meanwhile, picking up right where we left off in the last issue, Storm is confronted by Infinity, Eternity’s twin sister. She commands Storm to tell her where her brother is, who isn’t one to takes commands lightly.
Infinity has already taken out Galactus and his herald, Silver Surfer Soot, and she isn’t afraid to try her luck with Storm. With Storm still grieving Maggott and Eden, and the Thunder War already underway, she really has her hands full.
As I said earlier, Murewa Ayodele continues to impress by delivering emotional and powerful stories about everyone’s favorite goddess. Storm is no mere mortal, and Ayodele does an amazing job showing her true power. Storm is juggling so many different things with her grief, her fight to protect Jaden, and now being the center of the Thunder War, but if there’s anyone that can handle all of this with ease, it’s Storm.
The Art
There are so many beautiful panels throughout Storm #11, all thanks to Mario Santoro, C.F. Villa, Fer Sifuentes-Sujo and Alex Guimarães. Any page that shows Storm using her powers is guaranteed to be something made of beauty and power, but we got so much more in this comic. When Storm uses all of her abilities, no punches pulled, you get a gorgeous full page dedication to an otherworldly and magic enchantment that could only come from Storm herself.
A special shout out to the cover artist, Mateus Manhanini, is needed as Manhanini has knocked every cover out of the park with his incredible artistic talents.
Final Thoughts
This series gets better and better with each issue. The creative team shows their talents in every issue, and especially in Storm #11.
Overall Score – 9.4/10

I do like how it becomes quite cosmic with panels showing the Scarlet Witch with the Queen of Nevers, and Jean defending Krakoa in the White Hot Room.
