The Story and Writing
The Thunder War begins now! In a battle that is as big as the gods that participate, Infinity is on a warpath and has already taken out Galactus and Silver Surfer Soot! Her next target is Ororo Munroe, and Infinity will not stop until she gets the answers she wants.
Meanwhile, while all of this is happening, the FBI have finally found out about the young mutant that caused the incident in Oklahoma, Jaden. Storm has kept Jaden hidden in a safehouse on Madripoor, but that secret has been blown. Jaden lost their control over their nuclear powers, and Bishop had to absorb the radiation, and release it in a safe place. However, that nuclear blasts made it clear where Storm was hiding Jaden, and how they’re in more danger than ever.

With so much happening in Storm’s world, Murewa Ayodele continues to find the perfect balance amongst all the excitement. There was a huge feeling of tension throughout Storm #10 as you could feel the Thunder War starting, which felt powerful.
Along with the feeling of tension, there was a part that I absolutely loved, which was the dynamic between Maggot, Storm, and Manifold. The exchange was just the heroes joking around but it was lighthearted and showed true friendship that has formed between the mutant powerhouses. This goes back to Ayodele being a master at finding the perfect balance of the characters.
The Art
If you have an incredible storyline, you obviously have to have incredible artwork to match, and that’s exactly what the artists delivered. Lucas Werneck, the artist of Storm #10, gifted the readers with really gorgeous otherworldly panels that show just how much power lays in the pages. Along with Werneck is Alex Guimarães, who always delivers when it comes to his work on the colors. With Travis Lanham matched with them with his fantastic work on the lettering, this was guaranteed to be a success.
Final Thoughts
At this point, I’m convinced that there’s no one better to write Storm than Murewa Ayodele. His incredible talent at creating a story that’s just as powerful as Storm herself is unmatched.
Overall Grade – 10/10
