Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories – Tides of Terror #1 by George Mann (Writer), Luis Morocho (Pencils), Le Beau Underwood (Ink), Michael Atiyeh (Color), Comicraft’s Tyler Smith & Jimmy Betancourt (Letters) is a tremendous start to the story, that is sure to be a hit with fans!

The Story

George Mann pens a fantastic story that is thrilling from start to finish. It felt like watching an episode from one of the early episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

Getting to see familiar faces like Kit Fisto, Shaak Ti, Mace Windu is always a thrill to read. I was especially surprised to see Nahdar again!

It’s a story every fan of Star Wars is going to enjoy, because it feels so classic. There’s action sequences that feel so classic Star Wars, but there’s also some diplomacy involved as well. It really brings out that prequel era feeling that I love so much.

The Artwork

The work done by Luis Morocho, Le Beau Underwood & Michael Atiyeh do a tremendous job throughout the entire issue.

They do a tremendous job at recreating some very familiar faces. Also the backgrounds for every panel is just beautiful and some of the most gorgeous backgrounds I’ve ever seen. The story is great, but the artwork is also worth the price for the issue.

FINAL POINT: A tremendous start to the story, on top of incredible artwork make this an issue Star Wars fans are NOT going to want to miss! This issue is worth every penny, and is another great addition to the Hyperspace Stories line.

Overall Grade: 9/10
