Runaways #2- Chase Stein Is Back From The Future

Chase Stein is back from the future. Runaways is back with Issue #2, with an all-star team, including:

We kick off with Chase showing back up. Everyone is surprised, and a Doombot punches Molly. Chase then goes and punches one of the bots. Victor then steps up and helps Chase out. Meanwhile, Gert takes one of the other robots out with the car. 

Everyone then goes and greets Chase. Him and Gert share a heated look, and then he walks away from her. Chase then tells Nico she needs to think of a spell, and fast. We then see Doombot’s antenna get fixed, and Victor and Chase have a heated argument over it. 

We then see the team go and get in the spaceship and fly to Gert’s house in Mailbu. Everyone heads in, and then we see Gert find her parent’s 4-D Time Portico. Gert and Old Lace teleport to the hostel and return with more stuff. Chase then proceeds to destroy the teleporter. 

We then see Karoline and Alex back at Bronson Canyon, and in the final panel, Karoline wonders where the others went. 

Final Grade: 10/10 

This issue had everything. Rainbow and the team really have not lost a single beat with these characters. It is going to be interesting to see where the book goes from here.
