Hello there! Padawan J here, the resident Star Wars expert from the ODPH! And this week I’m going to be reviewing the 20th and FINAL issue of Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures from Dark Horse Comics!
This is the FINAL issue of The High Republic Adventures, and what an amazing ride it has been! The war between the Republic & the Nihil is over! And now it’s time for a little celebration!

Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures #20 by Daniel Jose Older (Writer), Harvey Tolibao (Illustrator), Michael Atiyeh (Color), Comicraft’s Tyler Smith & Jimmy Betancourt (Letters) & Elisa Romboli (Cover) is a tremendous finale to an incredible series.
The Story
The story is a straightforward one, since this is the end. We do get to see all the familiar faces we’ve seen throughout the series. And they’re all celebrating the end of their ordeal, and the end of the war. It’s a wonderful way to end the series, and ties everything up so nicely.
The Artwork
Harvey Tolibao & Michael Atiyeh bring their A game for this entire issue, because it is simply stunning! The artwork is the show stealer for this issue. It is quite simply the most amazing artwork I’ve ever seen in an issue. This issue is just so gorgeous to look at, and I hope Tolibao and Atiyeh get some recognition for it.
FINAL POINT: Incredible artwork that will leave you breathless from start to finish, together with a story that’s wrapped up so beautifully, makes this an issue you’re going to want to read. And if you’ve passed up on this series for any reason, you’re going to want to check it out!
Overall Grade: 9/10
