Hello there! Padawan J here, the resident Star Wars expert from the ODPH! And this week I’m going to be reviewing the FINAL issue of the Bad Batch storyline from Star Wars Hyperspace Stories from Dark Horse Comics!
This series has been such a fun read with every issue! It’s felt like a series of episodes that easily could’ve been included in any of the three seasons of the TV show. So does the finale keep up the trend? Let’s jump into it!

Star Wars Hyperspace Stories – The Bad Batch: Ghost Agents #5 by Michael Moreci (Writer), Reese Hannigan (Pencils), Elisabetta D’Amico (Inks), Michael Atiyeh (Colors), Comicraft’s Tyler Smith & Bobby Bradford (Letters) is a fantastic finish to one of the better series in Star Wars recently.
The Story
The story in this issue is as good as it’s been in the previous four issues! Michael Moreci truly has an incredible feel for The Bad Batch that comes through on the page. Seeing our favorite band of misfit clones come together against Aurra Sing is a tremendous matchup.
The Artwork
Reese Hannigan, Elisabetta D’Amico & Michael Atiyeh are all tremendous with their work in this issue. The work they put in for this issue does a great job at capturing the look and feel of a group of characters who were first seen in a 3D format.
FINAL POINT: The entire creative team puts an incredible bow on what is a fantastic series that is as must read as it gets. If you’re a fan of The Bad Batch you’re going to LOVE this series. Thank you to the entire team for one of my favorite series in recent memory.
Overall Grade: 10/10
