In Fantastic Four #33, it picks up with the Fantastic Four talking about how they will get into outer space. By now, Sue Storm and Franklin Richards now have children, and they are older.
With all of the knowledge from all of them, H.E.R.B.I.E. insisted to make sure the faithful robot can help. I also love the additional knowledge that Johnny Storm has. He is always behind his sister, and wants to help the entire group.
H.E.R.B.I.E. seems to become the hero in the trip to space. I love H.E.R.B.I.E. and how loyal he is to the group. This robot also is very sympathetic to the situation ahead of them, and knows a lot about time travel and being there “at the right time.”
Reed Richards amazes me once again, with some of the comments he has towards ushering the group into a solution. When they are on the ship, there is a problem, and he remains the steadfast leader that he needs to be.
In terms of the art, again it’s that classic “Marvel” style that I like. Both the cover art and the art in the comic panels are excellent. I never fail to not like art that Marvel has produced in every comic book.
FINAL THOUGHTS
The Fantastic Four I hope will continue with some interesting stories. I also like to hear more of the perspective of Sue and Reed’s children. I can’t wait until the next issue.
OVERALL GRADE: 9/10
