RoboForce: The Animated Series Review Featuring Play 4 Keeps!

Speaking of animated, this isn’t your typical Saturday morning cartoon. This story is taking things to a new level with some serious action and emotional subject matter. We’re talking about war and the effects it has on the people that fight it. The characters in this story are dealing with real problems and are faced with tough choices!

Biker Mice From Mars Expands the Lore and it’s Characters

One big highlight to this issue is the character development. Each of the Biker Mice get a little bit of time to highlight who they are at their center. We also get to see what it is they’re really fighting for. Beyond that, we get a glimpse behind the front lines of these soldiers and the inner turmoil they deal with. As we’ve seen in recent media, rebellions are often complicated and messy and Melissa Flores makes it a point to show us that with the character of Stoker. Not everyone agrees with how they should fight and operate. It’s a constant battle of personalities and power dynamics.

Biker Mice From Mars and the “Art” of War

The artwork in this issue is wonderful. Yes it has that cartoon, made for screen vibe, but there’s so much more. The world that’s being created by Daniel Gete is so immersive. It’s not the most hospitable world, but it’s still home to the Mice and thats on full display in this issue. They are the masters of this terrain! Beautiful wide shots of deserts, cities, and homesteads feel tangible, with the dangers of the Martian backdrop and color palettes.

The NacelleVerse: The Great Garloo #0 New To You

The Mice and Plutarkians look great as well. Emotions are on full display for The Biker Mice Form Mars as they go from triumphant to angry to devastated. They really are some images that hit close to home and bring a ton of intensity to the varying degrees of emotion.

Overall Grade 10/10

This is a phenomenal way to kick off an ongoing series for The Biker Mice From Mars. This is the perfect start to a great story. Melissa Flores lays the foundation for a tragic story of war and family. Daniel Gete and Alessandro Santoro create a rich and lively world on Mars. They breath life into the action and repercussions or war. This one has me hooked and I can’t wait for more!
