The Great Garloo makes his mark on the NacelleVerse! Working as a bus boy in the WD4000 Diner in Detroit, Garloo finds himself in the middle of RoboForce meetup! After a clumsy accident, Garloo struggles to keep himself calm, almost like the Incredible Hulk. After a moment alone to calm hi nerves, he returns to make friends with Big Loo, a down and out robot with no more credits for a drink. Garloo gives him some drinks on the house and they become fast friends, with Garloo opening up and sharing his past troubles. A convenient invite to a singing competition sets the two of them on an adventure that will change both of their lives forever!

The story is campy and fun. Garloo is a really great character that gets a tragic backstory. I love the way he’s written as a really nice guy who can’t catch a break. The little addition of him wanting to be a singer just adds to the fun whimsical nature of the story. The relationship between Garloo and Big Loo comes off as so genuine and wholesome that I really end up enjoying every page.

Biker Mice From Mars Gets a New Ongoing Series!

Of course with this being a part of the NacelleVerse, we have a ton of cameos! RoboForce are there to give Garloo some support when his boss is yelling at him. Throttle from Biker Mice from Mars shows up to lend Garloo a hand when he’s attacked by a surprise villain. There’s so many fun twists and turns!

The Nacelle Company RoboForce Trailer ROCKs the Internet!

Colors and letters bring a great deal of immersion to the story. Rich, vibrant colors create these fantastical worlds and define the larger than life characters. Lettering sound effects put us right in the action scene.

Overall Grade: 9/10

This was so much fun! I didn’t really know what to expect out of The Great Garloo. What I got was this wholesome adventure through different worlds and environments. The eyes moved from panel to panel, page to page with no idea of what was coming next! The NacelleVerse continues to put forth string storytelling that is building a cohesive universe and I’m excited for what’s next!
