Hello there! Padawan J here, the resident Star Wars expert from the ODPH! And this week I’m going to be reviewing the 4th issue of Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories from Dark Horse Comics!

Things are reaching a real climax for Clone Force 99 (aka The Bad Batch), with the intel they’ve been hunting for now in enemy hands! So what do they do now? Let’s jump into it!
Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories #4 by Michael Moreci (Writer), Reese Hannigan (Pencils), Elisabetta D’Amico (Ink), Michael Aityeh (Color), Tyler Smith & Bobby Bradford (Letters) is another fantastic issue that continues to deliver with each issue!
The Story
The story continues to deliver in everyway possible. Firstly, I know I’ve said it before but I’m going to say it again. This whole series truly captures the feeling of an episode of The Bad Batch in the most perfect way possible.
The dialogue and the actions between the members of clone force 99 feel so familiar despite being a different writer than was on the television series. Second, getting to see some familiar faces in well known bounty hunters is also a bonus. This is the second to last issue, and the tension builds incredibly. By the end of the issue I was really wishing I didn’t have to wait to read the last issue.
The Artwork
Reese Hannigan, Elisabetta D’Amico & Michael Aityeh are truly immaculate with their work in this issue. They’ve done such a great job capturing the look & feel of the characters so well known and beloved from the tv screen. The colors are so vibrant and each panel really catches your eye and pops off the page.
FINAL POINT: If you’re passing on this series for whatever reason, you’re truly missing out on one of the best Star Wars comics going today. If you’re a Clone Wars/Bad Batch you’re going to love this series. The writing is incredible, the artwork is incredible. And it all blends together into a issue, and a series, you don’t want to miss!
Overall Grade: 10/10
