We pick back up in the dragon fight. The team is trying to come up with a plan to defeat it, and everything is just not a good idea. Scanlan then uses an illusion, and Vax comes and attacks the dragon with his daggers. We then see a coordinated assault in which the team hands the dragon.
After that, while the team is getting loot, the cave starts to collapse in on them. They escape back out and make it back to the city. A storm of some sort is brewing, and the town is also empty. They then find Lady Allura, and she warns them that the evil that has The Soverrign’s family is getting stronger.
They all then make a plan to get into the castle to stop the evil. As soon as they are in the castle, they are sensing the evil all over the castle. They then find the Sovereign and his family, and his wife and children are possessed by this evil. The family then attacks the team, and they are doing everything to stop this. They then take down the family, and the Devil that has control of them finally shows his face.
This leads to a confrontation, and then a fight. The final panel shows that The Devil attacks and kills Pike, and that we have to wait for Vol. 5 to see what happens next.
Overall Grade: 10/10
This entire volume has been incredible. Jody and her team have really knocked it out of the park with the storytelling. It is going to be fun to see where Vol. 5 goes from here.
