The team created to boost social media followings is not doing the best. In the last issue, Havok and Frenzy manage to get a win, despite their accidental stowaways, only to learn it was all a distraction. Now we wrap up a 10 issue story that has been hilarious and action packed since the beginning.

Story for X-Factor #10

We kick off with an explosion and of course, some hilarious moments with Granny. While Havok and his team of stowaways make it to safety, Archangel is struggling with his betrayal of mutant kind, and his new title of “Influencer.” As Pyro struggles to save the romance novel he’s working on, the entire X-Factor team is all doing what they can. Not to save the day or improve their social media followings, but to save their sanities and their lives. With some epic and hilarious lines, of course.

The Art

From the sky, to the sea, and everything in between. This issue of X-Factor took us everywhere, and it was all gorgeous. Granny’s expressions were spot on, as was the reaction of everyone as this story came to end… for now. Hopefully. There was guilt, fear, pride, and so much more. All perfectly expressed emotions wrapped up some beautiful action scenes.

Overall Grade: 10/10

This run of X-Factor has been so incredibly underrated. Every single issue was action packed, gorgeous, and laugh aloud funny. As well as current. It was ‘The Boys’ meets ‘DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.’ Of course much much more PG than ‘The Boys.’ It made fun of itself and society’s obsession with social media. I’m so sad to see this run end, but hope the versions of these characters pop up in the pages of another Marvel comic. How else will I find out if Pyro’s romance novel got published?

All in all X-Factor is action packed, fantastic storytelling, hilarious, and a hell of a lot of fun. There are so many fantastic comics out right now, but X-Factor stands out. If you’re looking for a fresh outside the box Marvel comic, grab this one! While I’m sad it’s ending, if I learned anything from Granny, “what doesn’t kill ya makes you older.”
