The Glowing Battle Begins
Doctor Molovtov tries to explain to Tariq that Ashley has not been truthful to him all. Proof of this being that he is very much alive and not crucified. He then tells Tariq that her motivations are darker than that as there is an armed nuke beneath them and it will kill them all. At the same time Tariq’s allies are trying to fight off the troops who are trying to get into the silo.
It is at this time that a figure from Junkyard Joe’s past makes him conflicted and takes him from the battle. It is finally time for Tariq to confront Ashley and let’s just say that doesn’t go too well. As Tariq tries to convince her this isn’t the way, and a lot of people will be hurt and killed. Ashley makes her final declaration before all out war. Which Glowing Person will be left standing, and what will be left after their massive match up?
Best Laid Plans
The escalation of the story over the past couple of issues has been amazing. Geoff Johns does an amazing job of building suspense, all while tugging at the readers’ emotions. With so many moving parts in this story, it would be easy to get lost, but to his credit this book and series stay easy to follow.
The art in this book is just simply awesome. This series has the best art in comic books today, and this issue continues with that trend. Gary Frank puts the reader directly in the world, and wows us with some of the most stunning scenes in comic book history. Couple that with the fantastic color pallet that Brad Anderson wields and you have a dream art team crushing it.

Geiger #14 ramps up the story even more than it already was. This issue much like the series is simply amazing. If you are looking for an action-packed book, with a lot of heart Geiger is for you. Make sure to grab this issue at the LCS this week and if it isn’t on your Pull List already, you should strongly consider rectifying that.
