Kill Train #4- We’re Almost Off This Kill Train

The team is almost home free. Writer Olivia Cuartero-Briggs, Artist Martina Niosi, Colorist Simone D’Angelo, and Letterer Becca Carey have made another fantastic issue.

We kick off the issue with the team heading to the next train car. Vanessa is seeing her husband-to-be Richard on the train. This dream is such a weird one for her. She does kill Richard, but the dream/nightmare continues. Vanessa finally trips the killer, and he lands on the machete and dies. 

We cut back to the train car, and it’s just Vanessa and Corwin who are left of the survivors. Everyone died by way of a plastic bag on their heads. After the 2 of them have a conversation, Vanessa says she’s not ready. We then see that happening while a flashback is happening of Vanessa getting a text message. 

After that, Vanessa gets to the next train car, and it’s a bloody mess in there. But the final panel shows that Vanessa’s daughter was on the Kill Train as well. 

Overall Grade: 10/10

With just 1 issue left, Issue #4 really kicks the story on all cylinders. Seeing what is happening, while wondering just how the story will end, makes this story so fun to read. But also, the art really helps with that as well.
