“Every Soul Except One”

The vision of the slaughter of her tribe invades the dreams of Zyanya as she is on the hunt for Gunslinger. Meanwhile, the Gunslinger is finding out that even though he has awesome powers they come with a catch. That catch is that he is now forced to be in the world of the supernatural, which puts him at odds with zombie like demonic possessed women.

As the temptresses attack the Gunslinger, he lays waste to them with his six shooters. All the while the town folk look on in disbelief and awe of what they are seeing. Finally, the Gunslinger lays waste to all but one of the temptresses, who he then takes for questioning. She finally gives him some answers before going out with a bang, sending the Gunslinger on with his journey.

Boom Goes the Dynamite

Deadly Tales of the Gunslinger #3 is a fun book that builds on the lore of Gunslinger Spawn. Jimmy Palmiotti does a great job of bringing a different take to the character, while setting the table for what the future Gunslinger does. As a companion book, this is a great piece of work.

The art looks fantastic and really gives you the old west vibe. The character design and backgrounds by Patric Reynolds are on point, well the colors by Luis Ntc are super complimentary to the art. Every panel looks terrific and has you looking for more.

Final Thoughts

Deadly Tales of the Gunslinger #3 is a fun read and does an amazing job on building the lore of Gunslinger Spawn. If you are enjoying the Gunslinger Spawn series, you should definitely pick up this short series as well. A great companion piece to an ever-growing universe.
