The Vampires Are Taking Over
Nyx, Queen of Hell is taking in the carnage that fell on some vampires. At the same time Bludd is getting some sound advice on what the vampires should do to stop whoever is hunting them. But just when you thought the book had enough strange characters, we are introduced to The Curse.
The Curse reveals that he is filling in the void of the angels from heaven as they lost there powers, just like the Hellspawn’s. Curse has invited Spawn and Lyra to his lair, so he could try and recruit them for his holy mission. Spawn is pondering it as he and Lyra leave, they end up getting an unexpected visit from Nyx.
The Lord’s Light Shines Upon Us All
Spawn #359 is a good bridging issue in this current story arc for Spawn. Rory McConville sets the table nicely for where this arc is going in the next few issues. All be it not the most exciting issue of the arc, it will be an issue that gives us the keys to what’s going on in future issues.
The art in this book is top notch as usual in the world of Spawn. The inks mixed with the colors make every panel stand out and convey the sense of feeling we need to have every page.

Final Thoughts
Spawn #359 does a great job of world building. But it does lack in the action beats, which were sacrificed for the sake of building a new world. This book is still worth picking up because it will definitely be the cornerstone in this arc going forward.
