Hello there! Padawan J here, the resident Star Wars expert from the ODPH! And this week I’m going to be reviewing the fourth issue of the Saber For Hire storyline in The High Republic Adventures from Cavan Scott & Dark Horse Comics!

This issue picks up at the climatic point of the story in this series, and hits the ground running. It’s a fantastic issue and is the best one I’ve read this week. So let’s just jump into it!

Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures: Saber For Hire #4 by Cavan Scott (writer), Rachael Stott (Illustrator & Cover Art), Nicola Righi (Color Art), Comicraft’s Tyler Smith & Jimmy Betancourt (Letterer’s) is a great issue overall, and a great conclusion to the story that Cavan Scott has been telling.

I’m not sure if it’s the end of the series, or things are just taking a brief hiatus. But regardless you do NOT want to miss this issue.

The issue is a culmination of what’s been going on and everything comes crashing together in this issue in a climatic final battle that reminds me of some of the great episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Cavan Scott writes honestly his best work yet with this issue and deserves to be commended.

It’s an AWESOME, action packed story from start to finish that will leave you on the edge of your seat. And it’s an issue you won’t put down before you’ve finished reading it. The artwork is also the best it’s ever been and is a wonderful compliment to the story. This issue has it all and then some. Action, adventure, heartache, happiness, AND MORE.

FINAL POINT: If this is the end of the series, than it’s one of the better finale’s I’ve read. And if it’s not, it’s just as good an ending of the story. This issue should be one you pick up this week, and is honestly the best issue I’ve read this week. It’s a wonderful piece of storytelling that deserves some sort of award.

Score: 9.5 out of 10
