The Story:
While X-Force tries to get the information they need from the MLF, the team is visited by Cyclops and Quintin Quire. Meanwhile, Domino is on the run for a group of angry humans while trying to remember who she is and where she is supposed to be heading.
The Writing:
Tim Seeley continues to show a perfect understanding of how to write multiple storylines in one book. The transitions between Domino, Cable, and Ms. Marvel are wonderful and perfectly paced. On top of the expert movement between storylines, the conflict among the team and the quiet conflict between Cable and Cyclops keep the tensions running high. The highlight of this series is the interpersonal relationships and the conflict in this group of dangerous people.

The Art:
This art team continues to push the story forward with wonderful line work, colors, and layouts. Each member of this team understands the assignment, put out a book that showcases the emotion and powers of this team of X-Force. There are not a lot of powers on display in this issue but when they show up they look incredible. The standout work here has to be the wonderful display of Domino’s powers. That is not something that is easy to put on paper and it’s handled perfectly in this issue.
Overall Grade: 9.5/10
This series has been excellent from the start. Each issue builds on the mystery and deepens the dynamic between the team. The writing and art meld together to create a deep narrative, full of excitement and intrigue.
