Published:

Last we saw Boba Fett he was living up to his reputation as “THE” bounty hunter. He got his bounty, saved the kid, and moved on. Now in this third issue, of a four story arc, he’s got another mission.

The Story for STAR WARS: Boba Fett – Black, White & Red #3

In issue 3, we go back and forth from the past to the “present.” We see a young Boba attempt a small bounty. Known more so as Jango’s son, he has yet to create a reputation for himself. Present day Boba, however isn’t one to let a bounty or a grudge go. While his bounty has changed in more ways than one, he’s not backing down.

The Art

With each issue having a different artist, the art in issue 3 took me a bit by surprise. With only black, white, and red to highlight the scenes it had a soft feel to it, while still showcasing some amazing action scenes. Every page was absolutely gorgeous! From the various creatures we meet, to a moment in the rain. The details were beautiful, and made the story almost more poetic in showing us more of the backstory to Boba Fett, THE Bounty Hunter.

Overall Grade: 8.5/10

Every Star Wars comic book, or novel I read makes me fall more in love with the entire galaxy than I already am, and STAR WARS: Boba Fett – Black, White & Red #3 did just that. I saw parts of the galaxy I’ve never seen. Met characters I’ve never heard of, and learned of a whole new crazy group of characters with interesting beliefs. All while, seeing Boba Fett doing what he does best: just trying to make his way through the galaxy.

Any and all Boba Fett fans, should definitely check out STAR WARS: Boba Fett – Black, White & Red #3.
