The Story for Spider-Man Holiday Spectacular #1
It’s the holiday season, and Aunt May has decided to take a cruise. Thereby leaving the itsy bitsy Spider-Man all by his lonesome. Or so he thinks. From Thing’s Hannukah party, to space, to playing Santa, and more, Spidey is in no short supply of holiday festivities. The world saving obstacles may be in short supply this issue, but the holiday spirit is merry and bright!

The Art
Spider-Man Holiday Spectacular takes us all over the place celebrating the season. From various locations to various superhero cameos, each page delivers absolutely beautiful scenes full of your favorite superheroes. The latkes are hot, and every Christmas tree is gorgeously lit up. This issue is truly festive eye candy.
Overall Grade: 8.5/10
If you’re looking for a comic to add to your holiday collection, Spider-Man Holiday Spectacular is perfect. Spider-Man keeps it light hearted and hilarious throughout while showing how much the holidays are about spending time with the ones you care for. I absolutely loved this holiday issue from beginning to end. If I wasn’t already eager to put up the tree before, I definitely am now! Happy Holidays!!
Quick disclaimer for parents with younger kids: While this is a family friendly story, if reading with any true believers, there is a line that made me happy I wasn’t sitting next to my 8 year old. I just wanted to give that disclaimer to any parents still keeping that magic alive.
