The Writing:
As you find out more about Rook, Dire Wolf and more of this rag tag bunch trying to save their world, you really start to unravel the depths of this incredible book and their backstories.
It almost reminds me a little of the first season of “Lost,” where we continued to find out a character’s backstory each episode and all these seamingly disconnected backstories all combine into one powerful, larger epic.
As the group unite and try to same Dire Wolf’s father from his own delusions, things get even trickier as a new warden emerges, Stag, but he has no plans to save anyone! Will he join the group or destroy it.
Overall Grade: 9.5/10
This book continues to impress. The reader is never without suspense or action (you pick your poison), as we meet new and wonderful characters, learn more about the mystery behind Exodus and are left wondering what will happen next with each and every issue’s close.
