We start with Frankie, Draculaura, and the headmistress with Robecca Steam. We learn that she has been staying somewhere else since her father disappeared. While the conversation is happening, the gingerbread cookies talk, and do not want to be eaten. After that, the ghouls get Robecca to help out with Frankie’s Transmission Amplifier.
We then jump to the scaregrounds, and Lagoona is getting things ready with Abbie’s help. They are passing out flyers to tell everyone not to use Gloomtech Beauty. Lagoona is also talking about the Protest Of The Century that is going to happen.
We then cut back to Frankie, Draculaura, and Robecca. They are getting everything they need for the invention, with the help of the Gingerbread cookies. Frankie finds the Cogentic Current Converter and attaches it to the amplifier. It then powers on, and Robecca sees visions of her father. Her and the girls then head off.
Back at the Scaregrounds, Lagoona rallies the troops to talk about the protest. She also mentions that the Imps have been helping her. Meanwhile, over at the Old New Salem Cemetery, the ghouls find where the signal is coming from. They head in, and Robecca’s father is alive.
Frankie then stops the robots that are holding him and the headmistress hostage. Everyone then attacks the robots, and they stop acting up. The final panel shows that Robecca, her father, and the headmistress have a lot to discuss.
Overall Grade: 10/10
This series is getting better and better. I cannot wait to see where the last 2 issues go from here.
