We kick this issue off with the fight with the witch. Keyleth in Tiger form is still attacking \ her, and Grog is still stuck in the bubble. Tiberius then gets her entangled, and everyone is able to attack her then. Scanlan then gets shocked, and the witch then gets her blade.
Vex and Vax then go and attack her together, and the lights go out. Scanlan then gets the light back up, and Vax is on the ground, not moving. The man that Vex told to wait outside then comes in, and gets taken through a magic mirror. Vex tries to go through it, but it does not work.
Vax and Scanlan then argue about who let the witch escape. Scanlan then goes and heals Keyleth. Grog then proceeds to be let out of the bubble. Tiberius then formally introduces himself to Vex and Vax. After that, the team is trying to find a way out of the room. They find a door and go through it.
We then cut back to the witch, and she is back in a room. After drinking a healing potion, she licks her sword that has Vax’s blood on it. He then pops up on her mirror. Vex and Vax are then walking on a street when they pop into a building. The witch comes through a mirror that is in the room, and she captures Vax.
Vex then finds the mirrors in the room broken, and her brother missing. We then see Vax in a cell with the witch. She is explaining her plan to try to get Vex as well. We then cut to the others in the tavern. Vex shows up and tells them that Vax was taken by the witch. She then leaves, but everyone listens to what she has to say.
After that, Keyleth, in dog form, untransforms and tells Vex she wants to help get Vax back. The final panel shows the 2 of them off to start hunting him down.
Overall Grade: 10/10
This comic is getting better and better by the issue. It’s so fun to see all of the crazy antics that happen in the last 2 issues.
