Hello there! Padawan J here, the resident Star Wars expert from the ODPH! This week I’m going to be reviewing the 7th issue of Star Wars: Jedi Knights from Marvel Comics!

It’s been a very great series thus far in a time period set before the events of The Phantom Menace. After a shocking end to the previous issue, there’s only one question to ask. What happens next?! Let’s jump into it!
Star Wars: Jedi Knights #7 by Marc Guggenheim (Writer), Madibek Musabekov (Artist), Luis Guerrero (Color Artist), VC’s Clayton Cowles (Letterer) is a gripping story from start to finish. It’s a story filled with action and intrigue, that will leave you wanting more by the end of it.
The Story
Marc Guggenheim picks up right where he left off in issue 6, and that’s with things in a very precarious position. It’s a great story that I had a great time reading, and is sure to please Star Wars fans of all levels. The issue gave me a little bit of a vibe of an episode of The Clone Wars, and I loved that!
I’m very interested to see where things go from here, because we do ultimately know what is going to happen to these characters. Like I said, it takes place BEFORE The Phantom Menace so in a sense the outcome has already been told. However what we don’t know is how they’re going to get there. And that’s part of the fun!
The Artwork
Madibek Musabekov & Luis Guerrero continue their amazing work with the artwork in this issue. It continues to be one of the most sharply drawn Star Wars comics on the market today. Aayla Secura & Mace Windu look identical to their real life counterparts in the films. I also love the look of the Kaijura because it looks so much like something that the Toho company would have come up with for the Godzilla films.
FINAL POINT: This series continues to deliver in each issue, and this one is no exception. Marc Guggenheim’s fantastic story together with the immaculate artwork from Madibek Musabekov & Luis Guerrero make this a can’t miss issue
Overall Grade: 9.0/10
