Stitch #1- Everyone’s Favorite Little Blue Alien Is Back

Everyone’s favorite Little Blue Alien is back. Dynamite’s newest Disney comic, Stitch, is being led by an all-star creative team, including: 

• Writers: Connor Ratliff & James III 
• Artist: Greta Xella 
• Letterer: Fabio Amelia 

We start off with Stitch starting at a bunch of Ostrich Eggs, and Ostriches surrounding him as well. The farmer then finds him, but not even 30 seconds later, Stitch is on the run. He’s running through a yoga class, and he also runs over a mime who is in his invisible box. 

We then see Jumba having a dream about doing a presentation about Stitch. Pleakly runs in, and the 2 of them get into a conversation. After they leave, Stitch goes and finds the bottle of Jumba’s Diaboli-gel and uses it. 

He then goes back to the farmer, and he and all of the Ostriches see the hair, and immediately get mind-controlled by it.  The entire yoga class gets controlled by it, and even the mime does as well. Jumba and Pleaky realize that the gel is gone, and they realize that Stitch took it and used it. 

Stitch shows back up, and Jumba and Pleaky then get mind-controlled as well. Stitch runs to the beach and tries everything to get the hair off his head. Cobra Bubbles then shows up and offers Stitch advice. We then see the 2 of them deliver the gel to everyone, and the final panel shows the gang at home in Hawaii. 

Overall Grade: 10/10 

Stitch is a character I have loved for years now, and seeing a solo series from him feels incredible. The entire creative team has taken the best character Disney has made and has given him a comic that every single fan is going to love.
