Time to save Cheetara. Writer Paulina Ganucheau, Artist Coleman Engle, Colorist Kendall Goode, and Letterer Jeff Eckleberry have made a beautiful 2nd issue.

We pick up with the team flying through the forest. We then see a hologram of The Professor show up, and he tells the girls what he has been up to. The team then uses their gem to get to their next location. But a black bird comes and tries to take it.
After that, they all fall into the forest and head into a temple. We then see they find the scepter, and before they can try to use it, Lion-O interrupts their plan. They then get into a fight with him, and it leads to a Golden Snake being awakened. Meanwhile, Blossom is still fighting Lion-O.
We then cut back to the others, and they are still fighting the snake. While this is happening, Buttercup gets a crown, and an evil voice starts talking to her. We then see Cheetara get saved, and her and Tyga open a portal to the next location.
Overall Grade: 10/10
2 issues in, and this is continuing to be an amazing comic. I cannot wait to see where we go from here with the book.
