The Story and Writing
Moon Knight has been very busy with all the chaos that’s been caused by Fairchild, and even that is an understatement. He captured Frazier, the Glitter-addicted cop, created a compound to help the public who’s also addicted to the dangerous drug, became addicted himself to try the compound, and even recruited Fairchild’s right hand, Carver. All of this chaos has led to his battle against the deranged Asgardian, and now, with the Midnight Mission by his side, it’s time to fight.

The fight may be much more complicated than it seems as Fairchild has recruited new fighters of his own, such as Cubist, Zaran, Deadzone, Killer Shrike, and Jester. The battle between the two teams will be something for the history books, and there’s no better way to celebrate the 250th issue of Moon Knight than this way.
Jed MacKay continues to serve a story that gets your heart pumping and has you sitting on the edge of your seat. I’ve always been a fan of MacKay’s writing, but he has exceeded all my expectations with Moon Knight. In Moon Knight: Fist of Khonshu #10, there’s so much happening the entire read, and it all flows perfectly due to MacKay’s talents of balancing characters in a story. With each member of the Midnight Mission taking on their own villain, MacKay does a fantastic job at giving each character their time to shine without watering down the others.
The Art
The artists of Moon Knight: Fist of Khonshu has been so very consistent in quality throughout this run, that it’s matched the quality of the story perfectly. Devmalya Pramanik, the artist of the comic, places you right in the middle of the excitement with all of the action-filled panels. Along with the great amount of action is the different looks of the power sets of the characters. On one page, we get a beautiful illustration of Deadzone’s electric power set that is nothing short of stunning.
Joining Pramanik is Rachelle Rosenberg, who handles the colors. Rosenberg makes each panel a work of art with her use of juxtaposing vibrant colors with dark ones, along with her use of contrasting backgrounds. All in all, the artists knocked it out of the park, yet again.
Final Thoughts
Jed MacKay just can’t miss when he’s writing Moon Knight, and this run is evidence of that.
