Across this entire series, Dave’s art and lettering work have elevated the story across every issue. This issue is no different, and Dave’s work really stands out. Add Geraldo’s color work in, and the story is really made.
Dave’s writing has really elevated the story across these 4 issues. This last issue is no different with the writing. Dave really took these characters and made them and the story so compelling to read. Readers will also find this issue has a crazy fight in it as well.
Speaking of the story, Steven and co. have their last stand against the cartel. The entire issue from the first page to the final panel is what an action movie turned into a comic should be. Hollywood should look to comics like The Loose End to inspire action and crime films.
Final Grade: 10/10
This 4-issue mini series has been amazing. For being a homage to 90’s action/crime films, it really turned into something special.
