Published:

It’s time for the school dance. Writer Heather Nuhfer, Artist Kellee Riley, and Letterer Johanna Nattalie have worked on a great story.

Now this is a reprint from a story that was released back in 2014. But even with that, this story is still amazing even 11 years later. That comes first from Heather’s writing and Johanna’s lettering on every page. The combo of those elements is one part of the story coming to life.

The other part is Kellee’s amazing art. Every panel looks incredible. Not only that, the colors are vibrant, and make everyone stand out on every page and in every panel. But it’s also important to note that the character designs look different from the recent series, and I love that so much.

As for the story, this is a fun one to read. Seeing Iris struggle to ask Manny out to the Fraidy Hawkins dance is so fun to see. But it’s also fun to see every way in which she tries to ask him to the dance.

Overall Grade: 10/10

It’s so refreshing to see old Monster High stories getting a new lease on life. This story counts in that statement. It still has a charm about it even 11 years later. But it’s also perfect for new MH fans to check out. Leave Your Thoughts In The Comments Below:
