Flash’s new abilities now allow him to see a week into the future what could possibly go wrong?! While the Justice League plots a way to stop Flash, he’s busy stopping three bridges from being blown up all at once…or did he?

The Story:
I have never related to anyone more than I do to Wally in this issue in that I get ahead of myself and don’t slow down enough to stop and think about my actions. Ryan continues to play both sides and really make the reader think. Just because Flash can see ahead and stop things before they happen doesn’t mean he is in the right. Where is the line drawn exactly? This issue raises that question perfectly and Ryan plays it out as the League being split on their thinking. In fact I can say I have been thinking a lot about this issue currently and how it relates to real life so much at the moment. Ryan is doing more than telling a fun story, he is blending real questions into super hero logic seamlessly.
The Art:
I have to say the way in which both Gavin and Adriano can draw some bridges blowing up is stellar. Thankfully, it’s not actual bridges blowing up, and nobody is being hurt, but the burnt sky with the fireball in the foreground and the bridge pieces flying is impressive. The way the colors shift to a cool, relaxing blue offers a stoic background, but Gavin’s intense body language and Buddy’s feisty dialogue really play into the ethics of this entire ordeal.
Final Thoughts:
This issue raises an ethical dilemma in a more light-hearted manner; however, the main point is not lost on the audience. This team continues to cook with this Flash run, and every issue builds upon the one before it so well.
