What’s coming to MEGACON ORLANDO in 2026

Hobbits, Peacemaker, Comic Creators, and so much more! MEGACON Orlando kicks off their 4 day celebration on March 19th, and the guest announcements keeping getting better and better.

There truly is something for everyone at MEGACON Orlando every year, and 2026 is looking to be no different. If you want the exhaustive lists of talent coming to O-town this Spring break, head to the MEGACON Orlando website. Below are some of the guests and events we’re getting real excited for!

You can find the founder of Nerd Initiative, Michael Rothman, at MEGACON Orlando this year. Alongside him will be the duo that makes up the podcast ‘Hops GEEK News.’ Also seen writing comic book reviews and so much for Nerd Initiative.

Comic Creators

Comic Creators are the heart of every comic con, and the list for this year looks fantastic. Make sure to stroll down the Comic Creators aisle to meet the writers and artists behind your favorite comic book characters and stories. From purchasing comics, to getting signatures, pictures, and geeking out, this section should never be skipped.

From Jim Lee (Batman), to Ryan Ottley (Invincible), to Joe Kelly (Amazing Spider-Man), to Ivan Reis (Hyde Street), Timothy Zahn (Star Wars), Jodie Houser (Generation X-23), Jeremy Adams (Aquaman), and so so many more! Make sure to check the MEGACON website for the full list of creators and their schedule. Every creator is not there every day. Their days are listed though, so you can plan ahead.

There are also a few events that comic fans can attend for an extra fee that can be booked today. The Jim Lee Experience gives fans guaranteed seating to his panel, an exclusive print, signatures, and a selfie. There is also the Frank Miller Experience. Another legend, as he is the creator of Batman: The Dark Knight Returns. There are two options available to meet him: the Frank Miller Experience or Frank Miller Sketch Package. Comic fans can also book the Joe Quesada Experience. There are multiple different options with him, at many different price points.

Celebrities coming to MEGACON Orlando

Movie, animation, and television, there are plenty of celebrities already booked for MEGACON Orlando 2026. For any Star Wars fans, the voices of Star Wars: The Clone Wars will be in attendance, and we’ll be sure to not miss any panel they have.

Another big one we’re excited for is John Cena. You can book John Cena Live to make sure you don’t miss his panel. Any Lord of the Rings fans, can also guarantee their seating now by booking AN EVENING WITH THE HOBBITS: IN CELEBRATION OF 25 YEARS. Orlando Bloom will also have his own panel that can be booked today, On Stage with Orlando Bloom.

Some other celebrities that will be in attendance are John Boyega (Star Wars); Helen Hunt (Twister); Jonathan Frakes, Gates McFadden, and Brent Spiner (Star Trek: The Next Generation); Walter Koenig (Star Trek); Giancarlo Esposito (The Mandalorian, The Boys, Gen V, Breaking Bad); Josh Holloway (Lost); Ashley Eckstein (the voice of Ahsoka Tano & Founder, Her Universe); James Marsters (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, SUPERNATURAL); and Cedric Yarbrough and Thomas Lennon (Reno 911!). The GOONIES have just been added as well!

Many of these celebrities will have panels. The schedule for those panels will be announced shortly before the con. Guests can also book pictures and autographs for many of the celebrity guests on their website today. Stay tuned as more get announced as we get closer to March 19th.

MEGACON panels, cosplay, gaming and more

Megacon isn’t just celebrities and comic creators. In addition to shopping, there will also be smaller panels covering many different fandoms. From trivia, to horror movies, toys, improv, and so much more. You never know what you’ll come across. Families will find an area just for kids, while gamers can get lost in a different world with fellow MEGACON gamers.

It’s not a con without cosplay, and for the second year in a row, MEGACON Orlando will host the Masters of Cosplay Grand Finale. This event will bring together the 2025 qualifier winners for an epic showdown. Cosplayers will be competing for $10,000. Guests can meet some of these cosplayers, learn about what goes into it, cosplay themselves, and enjoy some red carpet cosplaying action, and themed meet ups.

For those interested in art Comics Xplosion is an epic live art battle. It spotlights the best in comic creation. You can watch top illustrators go up against each other as they bring some of our favorite comic book characters to life. Guests may be able to keep some of the art. This event is open to guests with a MEGACON Orlando show badge.

Tickets & After Hour Events

The fun doesn’t stop when the convention center locks their doors. MEGACON Orlando will once again host an exclusive after-hours event at Universal Orlando Resort on Friday, March 20. Guests get unlimited access to select rides and attractions at Universal Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida.
