Dark Horse Comics has announced 2 new Avatar: The Last Airbender comic books.
We start off with the new mini-series. We are jumping into a new story with the Kyoshi Warriors. The book’s creative team includes:

- Writer: Brandon Hoáng (The Crossbow of Destiny)
- Artists: BellBessa (Avatar: The Last Airbender—Ramen Rumble) & Xanthe Bouma
- Colorist: Adele Matera (Avatar: The Last Airbender—Ashes of the Academy)
- Letterer: Jimmy Betancourt (Ghostbusters: Dead Man’s Chest)
The book’s description reads:
“Suki and the Kyoshi Warriors leave their island home to join the war against the Fire Nation. Met with suspicion and resentment by the mainlanders, they struggle to prove their worth to the Earth Kingdom. But when that opportunity arises, will they be willing to compromise their values as Kyoshi Warriors to embrace it?”
Avatar: The Last Airbender: The Kyoshi Warriors Issue #1 drops at comic book stores on May 6th.
Meanwhile, we also have a brand-new Avatar trade paperback. Avatar Legends: Masters of the Elements has been revealed, and it’s all-star creative team includes:

- Writers: Brandon Hoàng, Dave Scheidt, David M. Booher, Rachel Silverstein, Benjamin Wilgus, Amy Chu, & Meredith McClaren
- Artists: BellBessa, Meredith McClaren, Kelly. Nichole Matthews, Ingrid Kan, Xanthe Bouma, & Bailie Rosenlund
- Colorists: Meredith McClaren, Kelly, Nichole Matthews, Cris Peter, Adele Matera, & C. E. Chant
- Letterer: Comicraft
The book’s description reads:
