The Story:
Nova has his work cut out for him as he faces off against the man responsible for the destruction of Xandar and the Nova Corps! To make matters worse, Ravenous has the ability to siphon off the power of the Nova Force so Richard Rider is going to have to use some good, old fashioned human determination to figure out how to win this fight!
The Writing:
Jed MacKay is putting together such an incredibly interesting story with Nova Centurion. This issue continues to set up the future of this character while wrapping up past storylines with fantastic effect. As a long time Nova fan, seeing him take out all of his aggressions against Ravenous is insanely cathartic. On top of the action in this issue, MacKay keeps the intrigue going with the last few panels and that has me so excited for what is to come.

The Art:
Once again, the art team absolutely crushed it in this issue. The intensity of the action, the colors that popped, and the brutal beating that Ravenous gets at the hands of Richard Rider make this another excellent example of what comic book art can do. The standout moment for me was seeing Richard Rider, no helmet, no uniform, and holding a Kree hammer walking up to the man that destroyed the Nova Corps ready to handle his business! Of course, as has been the case with the previous two issues, the cover is stunning!
Overall Grade: 10/10
Surprise surprise, this is another 10/10. Beautiful art, an intriguing storyline, and some much needed revenge make this issue a must read for every cosmic Marvel fan!
