Check out Nerd Initiative’s review for the Lucy Statue from Dark Horse Comics!

Vault dwellers, we are back for season 2 of Fallout. It seems that The Ghoul (Walton Goggins) and Lucy MacLean (Ella Purnell) are still on the quest to find Lucy’s father, Hank MacLean (Kyle MacLachlan). We were teased that something has been going on with Lucy’s father.

It cuts to a scene where a man, in a very well dressed suit, is antagonizing this one group of guys. They end up in an alleyway, and the man shows them money. There is one catch, that there needs to be a device that can be attached to his head. Let’s just say that it doesn’t end well for that guy.

Meanwhile, in the present, The Ghoul is captured by a group, and Lucy is waiting for the right opportunity to come and save him. The Ghoul was about to be hung, and Lucy comes out and it was a full out shoot out. This was definitely the action that I missed so much seeing.

When Lucy and The Ghoul get out of that scuffle, they are trailing behind to get to Hank. A woman who was looking for her son (who was dead), leads both of them in the right direction. A vault is found and explored, and The Ghoul has an important flashback. The Ghoul met someone at the diner, alongside his daughter, and explored more of what his wife, Barb (Frances Turner) was up to. The Ghoul was horrified to learn of nuclear bombs being dropped.

While this happening Norm (Moises Arias) is still locked in Vault 31. Deprived of water, and running out of time, he decides to do the impossible. He lets out all of the tanks that were frozen. I’m wondering exactly what were in those tanks. Other scenes that were happening was Lucy and Norm’s cousin, Chet (Dave Register) who was assigned to take care of the baby. He becomes very angry with with Stephanie (Annabel O’Hagan) for not giving him a proper job to do.

At the end of the episode, Hank (Kyle MacLachlan) ends up on a base, and he dresses up very nicely. He has the same device as one of the men in the flashback scenes. He gets in contact with someone to alert them that he is there.

All of this together, made interesting introduction into season two. A lot of the questions that I know need to be answered throughout the series. One missing element was Maximus (Aaron Moten), he was not present in this first episode. I really want to see what he is doing over with the Brotherhood. There is a lot of hints easter eggs from the game, but, I really don’t know all of them. This first episode is definitely the setup that is needed before the second episode.

Excited for the next episodes of the show!! Wish I had any way to play the games tbh, the show has gotten me super interested in them. I love how the show operates by similar gameplay mechanics, treating itself like a literal live action version of what characters in the games could experience.
