In Captain America #5, it centers Steve Rogers doing what he does best, saving people. When it comes to personal relationships, he always has a soft spot to getting to know everyone. Especially if it help things for the greater good for the country. There is also one scene where the main Captain America, is fighting another one in another multiverse. I really love when comics start talking about the multiverse, because each character is slightly different than Earth 616’s main character.
I enjoy that Captain America also gets to meet Tony Stark. Tony Stark is a very important part to Captain America’s story. Tony is one of those characters that oozes charisma, and he is really cocky at times. Most of the time, he does enjoy talking to Captain America and listens to what he has to say. This also starts the early journey of Captain America joining the Avengers. Overall, this story is wonderfully crafted, and I’m hoping that Steve Rogers will continue to want to fight for what is right.
As far as the art, its’ jam packed with wonderful colors. I always love that classic Marvel style, and it keeps me engaged with the story. Ben Harvey did an amazing job with the cover, and it reminds me a lot of Alex Ross’s style. I really love when the Avengers have that classic “real life” look. It helps me relate to the story even more.
I’m really excited to see where Captain America lands at, after having a deep conversation with Tony Stark. I want him to continue to do good, and save people when they need saving.
Overall Grade 9.4/10
