Eddie Brock Carnage #10
From the hunter to the hunted. Eddie Brock has spent the last nine issues trying to make his partnership with Carnage work as they hunt down serial killers to feed the symbiote’s blood lust.
Now, Muse is on their trail, seeking his revenge. All the while, Eddie is doing his best to free himself of Carnage, seeking the support of a woman who has successfully separated herself from one in the past.
Can Eddie do it as well or will Muse have the final laugh.

Creative Team:
Writer: Charles Soule
Artist: Jesus Saiz
Color Artist: Matt Hollingsworth
Letters: VC’s Joe Sabino
Publisher: Marvel Entertainment
The Art:
The art style, which is fresh and unique, really matches the tone of this crime thriller.
Jesus and his very colorful style really match Charles’ writing, especially when it concerns the scribe’s own creation Muse.
With Eddie and Carnage both battling and dealing with the demons from their past, the art has to match the intense writing.
Jesus does this masterfully and even tells his won story through his craft!

The Writing:
This is where Charles shines. I’ve always said, there’s a select few Marvel scribes who can make the story feel like it jumps off the pages and could easily land in a show or movie and this one takes the cake.
The dialogue between Muse and Eddie, the intense, nail-biting action and suspense, and the inner battle between symbiote and host – these are all tools that Charles uses to create his story and boy it’s a powerful one.
Every page is a must read and must savor, much like Carnage, you take things slow with this book and enjoy every sinlg eword and every single panel.
Overall Grade: 10/10
This is easily one of my favorite series all-time. Pay close attention to the clever dialogue between Carnage and Eddie in this particular issue and it’s some of the best conflict, both inner and external, that I’ve read in years. Both Soule and Saiz have crafted such a thrilling and pensive masterpiece here!
