Wonder Woman has allowed time for everyone to escape the maze, thus leaving herself trapped in a battle with Clea. The maze, however, has more surprises up its sleeve as Diana is down to using her fundamentals as she fights for her life.

Creative Team:
Kelly Thompson (WRITER), Hayden Sherman (ARTIST/COVER), Jordie Bellaire (COLORS /COVER), and Becca Carey (LETTERS).
*SPOILERS AHEAD*
The Story:
I will say Kelly has done an incredible job in this issue with swerving from the usual ending when two foes are locked in battle. This issue continues to highlight the truly inspiring warrior and being that Diana is. When the chips are down she refuses to kill unless absolutely forced to.
Kelly continues to teach us real life lessons with this issue and ending this arc as well. The ending has me extremely excited to tie this all back into the Amazon origins and see where we go next. Also, are we getting some Atlantean lore being teased??
The Art and Letters:
Hayden and Jordie knock this intense battle out of the park. The scenes with Diana standing tall and blood pouring from her face stood out in these panels. It showed her as majestic in a way, and her true warrior nature. There is a scene as well where she is standing over the people of the city, once escaping the maze, and everyone with their phones out; it truly felt larger than life in this moment, and they captured it eloquently. As I mentioned, we get a taste of Themysceria, and it is beautiful and took away my breath in the short amount we did see. I cannot wait to visit here next.
Overall Grade: 10/10
