*SPOILERS AHEAD*
The Story:
Andy really knows how to weave together a collection of characters and make each introduction memorable. As our heroes are on the search for Luthor and a means to an end to the chaos that has erupted, we are met with various familiar faces as well as a couple of surprise faces in this issue.
I enjoy how organic the formation of this Justice League is coming together and how everyone has their role to play in it. Being that they are new Andy is having them face off against Zod which is something that has me very excited to see where it leads.
The Art and Colors:
Matt and Leandro bring us to many various locations with issue 3, and each one has an immense amount of detail to it. The thing that stands out to me is how they capture the various places and, in doing so, play into my other senses as well. The duo ensures that the introduction of the new faces within this issue is each deserving of their grand entry while giving them a flavor of the time period.
Final Thoughts:
This run is different and in a good way. Batman: Gotham by Gaslight, a League For Justice is weaving an intricate and thrilling tale together that showcases the lore of our heroes in a new way. I cannot get enough of this period piece!
Overall Grade: 10/10
