*SPOILERS AHEAD*

It is incredible how Tim nails Adrian so well in that he is such an idiot but, also stumbles into some bad ass action all at once. The quips are top notch and I am curious what ones may not have made the issue because he holds nothing back in this final issue. Tim does an incredible job making us fear for Vigilante’s life even though we know he won’t bite the bullet. This final story wraps up in one big chaotic fashion with a touch of friendship and Vig even gets the girl!

As far as Rex, he matches energy in terms of chaotic action and quips. There is a message about friendship, and there is even a touch of emotionality in Chris’s final story despite being beaten nearly to death by other Chris. The story culminates in a hilarious way in which you may be able to watch if your state hasn’t banned those sites yet.

Mitch is extremely good at grossing us out, as his art is full of brains, guts, and blood being spewed all over every page. If you’re a fan of Salisbury steak, I recommend not focusing on a particular panel. The background is full of colors that make the action stand out and the detail in Adrian’s eyes through the helmet helped create the tension and suspense that was built up in this issue.

Lolli and Kalisz give us an intense final battle between Chris’s in which their vivid art is full of blood, and you can feel every punch and kick that lands. The details in Eagly’s feathers and movement stood out to me in this issue in a big way, and Eagly even gets a chance to shine during the battle as well!

Issue 5 brings us to the end of this short run, but, holds nothing back in terms of violent and grotesque action and even some action in another way. I absolutely loved this run from front to back and fans of what James Gunn is doing with Peacemaker must make a mad dash to pick this up!
