When it comes to the New Champions, they are definitely a group I want to be in.

This final issue comes to the group rescuing one of their team members. I like how one of the girls (Liberty) seems to be the team leader. Readers will like how they can all work together. The villain is Hela. Hela wants total control, and the New Champions want to defeat her.

This epic conclusion also leaves the issue on a cliff hanger. I am stuck wondering exactly what the group will do now. When it comes to the storytelling aspect of the comic, I was glued to reading every page. I was really connected immediately to all the characters.

They did remind me a bit of the Teen Titans, but they seem more of a cohesive group. I can tell that they really care about each other at the moment. I also like the villain, Hela, the writer made her strong throughout the issue. I am sad that this is the end of this run, but I am hopeful to see this wonderful team again.

When it comes to the art in the issue, I love it. Every panel pops off the page, and I both read and feel the emotions of what is happening. I love the shading and attention to detail of each member of the New Champions.  I enjoyed this last issue, and I like at the end they said ‘The End..for now.’ There is hope for these young heroes to appear once again. I really had fun reading this issue, and I applaud the writer and the artist for this amazing ending.

Overall Grade: 10/10
