We start off with Jeff landing in a spaceship and on top of Rocket Raccoon and Groot. Jeff then proceeds to bite Rocket’s arm, and Rocket says he’s going to file Jeff’s teeth down. We then see Rocket rifling through gear, and then we see Jeff with a cute-looking Universal Translator.

The translator then shows that Jeff is saying “Modokian Copyright and trademark, Advanced Ideas Mechanics.” Following that, Jeff sees his shadow and chases after it. Rocket and Groot follow, and they end up in the Collector’s Museum. The shadow then goes and makes a mess.

Rocket then tries to shoot the shadow, which fails. Groot then makes a mess and releases a d’ast Piquant at the same time. This creature causes more problems, but Rocket does make Jeff a mecha suit. We then see Jeff, Rocket, and Groot go after the creature.

They do eventually stop the creature, and then Jeff goes after his shadow with the mecha suit. We see in the final panels that Jeff lands in Haven, Louisiana, and he’s now with Gambit and Rogue.

Overall Grade: 10/10

2 issues in, and Kelly and her team are creating an incredible comic. Jeff is such a fun-loving character, and this comic is really letting him shine. I cannot wait to see where we go from here.
