Hello there! Padawan J here, the resident Star Wars expert from the ODPH! And this week I’m going to be reviewing the 12th issue of The Ultimates from Marvel Comics!

Things lately for the Ultimates haven’t been going good. Lost battles, and an looming battle on the horizon. But all that pales in comparison to what takes place in this issue. Let’s jump into it!

The Ultimates #12 by Deniz Camp (Writer), Juan Frigeri (Artist), Federico Lee (Color Artist), VC’s Travis Lanham is yet another INCREDIBLE issue from Deniz Camp & company. The run Deniz Camp is on is unlike anything I’ve ever seen before.

The Story

Deniz Camp has penned another home run of a story with this issue. It’s going to be one that surely everyone is going to be talking about when it’s all said & done. Also there’s a plot twist in the story, that I truly did not see coming. Undoubtedly it’s a twist that’s going to have some pretty big ramifications going forward. Nevertheless, it’s having a major impact on our heroes right now.

The Artwork

Juan Frigeri & Federico Lee are really at the top of their game with this issue. They both do a fantastic job making this issue stand out from a lot of the other comics. Especially is this scene in just how they make everything in this issue feel like a major page/panel.

FINAL POINT: Undoubtedly the story is one of the best issues out this week. Along with the story, the artwork is spectacular and make for a truly remarkable issue. Without a doubt, you do NOT want to miss this issue this week!

Overall Grade: 10/10
