Hello there! Padawan J here, the resident Star Wars expert from the ODPH! And this week I’m going to be reviewing the 4th issue of Star Wars: Legacy of Vader #4 from Marvel Comics!
Kylo Ren is still exploring his grandfather’s past and it’s now led him to one of the pivotal locations from Anakin’s past, Naboo. So let’s jump into it!
Star Wars: Legacy of Vader #4 by Charles Soule (Writer), Stefano Raffaele (Artist), Nolan Woodard (Color Artist), VC’s Joe Caramanga (Letterer) is another incredible issue that fans won’t want to miss.
The Story
Charles Soule truly is one of the best storyteller’s in all of Star Wars. Without a doubt this issue just adds to that legacy, because the story is AMAZING. Kylo Ren has been led to Naboo, and is at the lakefront villa we see in Attack of the Clones!
Everything about this issue is just incredible, and it blends together two different time periods so flawlessly. Additionally we get a glimpse at what happened to Naboo after the events of Episode III. Seriously, this story is just such a phenomenal one that everyone needs to read.
The Artwork
Stefano Raffaele & Nolan Woodard do an incredible job with the issue. The best part of course is the scenes at the villa on Naboo. It’s such a familiar location, so to get to see it in a new look is awesome. It’s hard to find a better team in artowrk than Raffaele & Woodard.
FINAL POINT: If you pick up one issue this week that isn’t on your pull list, make it this one. The story is incredible & the artwork is top notch. This is a story any Star Wars fan will enjoy, and HAS to be read ASAP!
Overall Grade: 10/10
