In the midst of Wakanda, T’Challa is back fighting the same thing. Ra and Khonshu have gotten significantly stronger. It is confusing T’Challa that he cannot beat either of them. Storm was in the midst of trouble, as T’Challa came to save her.
Storm thanked T’Challa but, they both needed a plan to beat the both of them. Ra and Khonshu seem to be in the possession of Vibranium. Which only becomes dangerous when they possess them.
Meanwhile, Storm and T’Challa are still figuring out what to do. Storm knows how powerful she is, and knows how skilled T’Challa is with fighting. Storm feels that it is not enough. I’m wondering if they will recruit more people to help them in this battle.
I like how the story is continued from a few issues back, about how they are handling Ra and Khonshu. They both are a threat, and it seems almost in every issue, they are unstoppable. My question when I read every issue is, when will it be resolved? Only time will tell once they get to the end of this comic run. I really like the way they portray Storm. This fierce comic character that is fearless, and willing to work with people to defeat villains. This issue also gives this vulnerability to Storm. She understands her emotions, and she wants T’Challa to do that as well.
In terms of the art, it is that classic Marvel comic style. I like how they have Storm’s hair, and also T’Challa’s haircut. I am always impressed how they illustrate and make it effortless when it comes to illustrating comic characters of color.
Overall Grade: 8.5/10
