Hello there! Padawan J here, the resident Star Wars expert from the ODPH! And this week I’m going to be reviewing the 3rd issue of Star Wars: Jedi Knights #3 from Marvel Comics!

Qui-Gon Jin & Obi-Wan Kenobi are met with a very tall task this issue, and it’s unlike anything they’ve ever faced before. So will they be up to the task? Let’s jump into it!
Star Wars: Jedi Knights #3 by Marc Guggenheim (Writer), Madibek Musabekov (Artist), Luis Guerrero (Color Artist), VC’s Clayton Cowles (Letterer) & Rahzzah (Cover) is an action packed issue from start to finish that’s sure to please all.
The Story
The story is a relatively straightforward one, but man is it fun! Obi-Wan & Qui-Gon get sent on a mission to a planet simply known as WG4587 because a distress signal was sent out from Senator Bail Organa. What follows is a battle between them & the planets indigenous species known as Kaijura.
The story is a fantastic one! Let’s call them what they are, they’re Kaiju! And it’s AWESOME! The only time we’ve ever really gotten to see Jedi take on a Kaiju like creature was in The Clone Wars during season 2 against the Zillo Beast. So to get to see another instance of that is tremendous!
The Artwork
Musabekov & Guerrero do a truly incredible job as always with the artwork in the issue. Considering this is a completely unknown and brand new planet, and it looks incredible. That plus the brand new creature make the artwork truly incredible. I really hope going forward Musabekov & Guerrero are paired together more often in Star Wars projects.
FINAL POINT
Marc Guggenheim pens a truly memorable issue that is a blast to read from start to finish. Coupled together with the tremendous artwork from Madibek Musabekov & Luis Guerrero make this an issue that every Star Wars fan will enjoy. If you’re looking to pick up an issue this week, you should ABSOLUTELY pick up this one!
Overall Grade: 9.0/10
