While Wade and Wolvie are so clearly the perfect duo, they’re not always on the same page. Sometimes they’re not even on the same page with their self. Now, someone or something has got a hold on Wade, and it’s not just a bunch of antler horns. Last we saw this infamous duo of Deadpool and Wolverine, they were finally getting to the bottom of things, when an astral projection of Stryfe shows up, followed by a western looking herd of zombies.

The Story for Deadpool/Wolverine #4
This issue immediately picks up where we left off in #3. Wade is still hanging from some antlers, and zombies are heading in their direction. While these are your run of the mill bite and infect zombies, their infection is not so normal. They are simply a means to end. The end being control over Deadpool and Wolverine. While Stryfe tries to tell this dynamic duo why he’s doing what he’s doing, Maverick is off fighting a different kind of ambush. Against a different type of “enemy.”
The Art
Whenever you have someone with healing powers, things can get a bit messy. Double the people with that power, and you tend to double the blood and guts. Especially when the story involves Wade and Logan. Blood, claws, liquor bottles, zombies, and more… all drawn and colored to create an absolutely gorgeous, hilarious, and intense scene. This is 100% the art you want when DP and Wolvie grace the pages of a comic together.
Overall Grade: 9.5/10
From Wolverine’s always intense and angry demeanor, to Wade’s never ending smart ass lines, to an overall mystery that continues to open and deepen with each issue. Deadpool/Wolverine #4 was absolutely fantastic. While these two are so incredibly different they compliment each other in such a beautiful and demented way. This was captured perfectly in this issue. Meanwhile, there are so many other factors and mysteries at play, with everyone thinking their intentions are the best.
I got to give this issue 9.5 antlers out of 10. If you’ve ever enjoyed a Deadpool or Wolverine comic (or movie) before, then absolutely add Deadpool/Wolverine to your pull list. You won’t be sorry, bub. SNIKT!
