Free League Publishing Launches ALIEN RPG Evolved Edition On Kickstarter

The Xenomorph have been waiting for you. Free League Publishing has launched the new edition of their popular ALIEN RPG on Kickstarter. 

The newest edition still has everything you love about the original version, but with a lot more content, including:

The Starter Kit and Rapture Protocol Cinematic Scenario Boxed Set will also be included. So the Starter Kit is going to have everything that new players will need to get started playing. Included in the kit is:

• An Expanded Edition Of The Fan-Favorite Hope’s Last Day Adventure Set

Meanwhile, the Rapture Protocol Cinematic Scenario Boxed Set is returning to the roots of the ALIEN Franchise. The scenario has a crew of a small starfreighter on a resupply run. The crew ends up going to the remote Jeremiah VI industrial colony. The colony then ends up being embroiled in a deadly conflict. This new scenario will be the first installment of the upcoming Jeremiah Saga. 

Also included in the Scenario Box will be at least 17 miniatures. They will each be 28mm scale, so they will work for the new battle maps that will be included. This miniature set will also help bring the Rapture Protocol set to life. Additional minis from stretch goal unlocks will be included. The miniatures will also be able to work with other adventures throughout the ALIEN RPG series. 

Additional Expansion And More

Free League also said that 2 expansions for the current version of the ALIEN RPG will be getting reprinted for the new version. The Colonial Marines Operations Manual and Building Better Worlds will be getting upgraded for this new version. They will also receive upgraded interiors to match the new design of the Evolved Edition Core Rulebook.

Another huge feature for this new version is the Last Survivor Solo mode. This mode will have your character be the sole survivor of a scenario, including:

• Disasters
• Outbreaks
• Incursions

But other things could cause your character to be alone, afraid, and uncertain, including:

• Meteor Showers 
• Corporate Sabotage 
• A Xenomorph Being Released Into The Cargo Hold

A mountain of stretch goals have been unlocked, including:

• Rapture Protocol NPC Cards 
• Facehugger Miniatures
• Lifepath Character Generation
• Supply Dial
